Very friendly service, great boss and the food a pleasure. Had a bison platter (bison week) and was blown away, especially the red cabbage, the hammer. I really have never eaten such good red cabbage. We will be back!!!!!!!

Could have also written on the Internet that you were closed due to the preparations for bison week. So we ran up now - great! We came here especially for the bison room and organized our family day accordingly.

Style and tradition united. Bisonwurst very recommendable! But ONLY when slaughtered, no standard! Great beer garden. Cool host! Delicious food (even without bison). Location designed and operated with love, heart and brain!

Very nice location. We sat outside in the beer garden. Goods wandered around and stopped halfway there. You get drinks on your own terms. The order for the meal takes up a waitress. I had a lumberjack steak, but would definitely try the sausage next time. On Fridays there is probably suckling pig :)

Something else. A somewhat dated restaurant but kept its charm. Very friendly host and nice staff. Food was very good, prices are more than fair. Special feature, drinks are outside at the bar itself, food ordered at the table. Saves staff and goes faster, since most guests anyway just want to drink something.

Very nice rustic place with typical german food and good beers, in the middle of nature after driving a few kilometres on non paved roads through the woods, an adventure with children. Nice friendly staff, price quality is good. A good location to visit the ruins of the Bodman castle (the best view of the lake!) and relax before and after.
